Great game, a few nitpicks: the text in the Mech Bay small screen is cutoff on the right, and when you have more than 2 drones the timers for the other drones do not appear in the Drone Hangar small screen. I also do not see a button for getting back to a main menu?
Update fixes the displays. Main menu button is in the nav map menu. Thanks for the feedback!
Looks great, question: where do we see the paint schemes when applied? I have tried several but don't notice any change. I do see the charm that is selected and the different canopies but no difference in paint.
You can see them on the mech in the mech bay.
Went afk for a few hours to watch anime and check other games, but got my high score in. Was a fun game. Got all the way to 30 on a run from like level 15, but couldn't take out the final boss and had to do another lap from level 9. Kinda steamrolled after, but gee these buddies get tanky.
Adjusted some of the balance issues let me know what you think
is it possible to remove the damage numbers? Can't se were my aiming thingy is
Latest update should fix this let me know if it still needs work!
Much better, thank you :)
Good presentation, easy and intuitive controls, multiple currencies and a pricing schema that doesn't push a single upgrade schedule / allows for choice in how the mech develops. Fun!
A few downsides. 1- EDIT : FIXED IN UPDATE. 2- The in game economy feels WAY off - I have nothing left to spend cores on by level 12 of 30, and drone returns quickly make standard upgrades outpace enemy difficulty in a given zone. 3- Crashes are very common once all the gun systems are up and running, at least on my phone. It's not a brick, and even with all my other apps shut down it is crashing the browser window every half hour or so. 4- When a aspect of the drones is leveled up to 15, it is at its max and cannot be boosted again. But the option is shown, along with a cost (which is not available for selection, even if the player has the currency displayed)
Latest update should fix the crashing. Also did some economy and drone balancing. Thanks so much for the feedback!
With the update, I was able to push through and finish.
I enjoyed my time with this - thank you for doing the work to make it engaging and layered, and for the tenacity to dig back in to fix the initial issues.
