Two conquests. One gate. Who gets to tell the story?
A Disco Elysium-style dialogue RPG about the two conquests of Toledo. In 711, Yidir is a Berber soldier owed his share of a conquest. In 1087, Esteban is a Mozarab priest watching his city change hands and its promises unravel. Walk the same Toledo plaza through two perspectives, separated by 376 years.
HOW TO PLAY
- Choose a chapter and one of its three character archetypes.
- Walk the plaza and speak with soldiers, merchants, clergy and neighbors.
- Pick dialogue responses and risk two-dice skill checks.
- Gather Thoughts that strengthen a voice for the current chapter.
- Return to the Gate after exploring the city's conversations to reach the chapter's ending.

Gamepad: left stick or D-pad to walk; A to interact; Y for Thoughts; Menu to pause. Touch: virtual joystick, TALK button, and tapped dialogue choices. Landscape recommended.
PLAY NOTE Single-player, English text. Chapter completion markers are stored in your browser: use the same browser to retain them. Conversations, choices and Thoughts are not saved mid-chapter.
CONTENT NOTE Discusses war, enslavement, religious persecution, ethnic prejudice and forced displacement.
